Coi Leray is an American rapper and singer known for the Billboard Hot 100 hits "No More Parties" and "Players." The daughter of rapper and media executive Benzino, she has released the albums Trendsetter and Coi, along with the extended plays Now or Never, Blue Moon, Lemon Cars, and What Happened To Forever?.

Personal life

Coi Leray was in a relationship with rapper Trippie Redd in 2019, and the pair rekindled their relationship in August 2024. They announced that they were expecting a child together in January 2025 and welcomed a daughter in June 2025. Leray previously dated rapper Pressa.

Leray is the daughter of rapper and media executive Benzino and has five brothers, including rapper Chavo. Her parents divorced after Benzino left The Source.

Early music and Everythingcoz

Leray began making music at age 14. In 2011, inspired by Benzino, she uploaded the songs "Bow Down," recorded with her brother Taj, and "Rock Back" to YouTube. She later stopped making music for a period, dropped out of high school at 16, and worked in sales.

After leaving her job, Leray released "G.A.N." through SoundCloud in 2018. Her breakout single "Huddy" and debut mixtape, Everythingcoz, followed that year. She signed with 1801 Records and Republic Records, releasing the mixtape EC2 in 2019 and the extended play Now or Never in 2020.

Breakthrough with No More Parties and Players

Leray's 2021 single "No More Parties" became her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100. The remix featuring Lil Durk peaked at number 26 and received double-platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. She performed the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, marking her television performance debut, and was selected for the 2021 XXL Freshman Class.

"Twinnem" became a viral hit on TikTok in 2021, while "Blick Blick," her collaboration with Nicki Minaj, reached number 37 on the Billboard Hot 100. Leray released her debut studio album, Trendsetter, in 2022. Her single "Players" later reached number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 and led into her second studio album, Coi, released in 2023.

Later releases and collaborations

Leray contributed to "Save the Day" by Ski Mask the Slump God and Jacquees for the soundtrack to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. She also worked with Fetty Wap on "Better Days," Keke Palmer on the remix of "Sticky," and David Guetta and Anne-Marie on "Baby Don't Hurt Me." The latter reached number 13 on the UK Singles Chart.

In 2023, Leray collaborated with Tomorrow X Together on "Happy Fools" and with Metro Boomin on "Self Love" for the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse soundtrack. She followed Coi with the EPs Blue Moon in 2023, Lemon Cars in 2024, and What Happened To Forever? in 2025.
