Trippie Redd has been involved in several high-profile relationships within the music industry. He was previously linked to rapper Aylek$, and in 2021 he confirmed a relationship with singer Skye Morales, which ended in 2023 after he publicly acknowledged infidelity.
He had a brief relationship with rapper Coi Leray in 2019 before the couple rekindled their romance in August 2024. In January 2025, they announced that they were expecting their first child together, and their daughter Miyoco was born in June 2025.

Trippie Redd developed an early interest in music from listening to artists played by his mother, including Ashanti, Beyoncé, Tupac Shakur, and Nas. Trippie Redd broke into mainstream recognition in May 2017 with the release of his debut commercial mixtape, A Love Letter to You. In March 2024, he partnered with rapper MGK to release the collaborative emo-rap EP Genre: Sadboy. Outside of his own performing output, Redd expanded into visual direction, directing the official music video for Juice Wrld's posthumous 2024 single "Both Ways". He also joined English media personality KSI on the 2024 single "Thick of It".
Legal issues
In late May 2018, Redd was arrested in Cobb County, Georgia, and charged with affray, criminal trespass, and simple battery following an altercation involving rapper FDM Grady. In early June of the same year, he faced an additional assault arrest in Georgia.
In August 2023, law enforcement cited Redd in Florida for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license. On July 4, 2025, he was arrested at Miami International Airport while boarding an international flight to France on an outstanding warrant stemming from the unlicensed driving offense.
