Meet the Barkers and early musical influences
Barker appeared with his family on the MTV reality series Meet the Barkers, which ran from 2005 to 2006. He made his first appearance on the program at age two in the episode "It's Moving Day for the Barkers."
As a child, Barker traveled with his father while Blink-182 toured. Those experiences influenced his decision to pursue music, and he began making music of his own at age 15. He graduated from high school in June 2022.
"Die in California" and DTA Records
Barker's first major music collaboration was "Die in California," a 2022 song by Machine Gun Kelly featuring Gunna, Young Thug and Barker. The song was included on Kelly's album Mainstream Sellout and peaked at number 15 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart. Barker later performed the song with Kelly at a sold-out Madison Square Garden show in June 2022.
Barker signed with his father's Elektra imprint DTA Records in 2023. His debut single, "Friends With Your EX," was released that September. Travis Barker played drums and handled production on the track, whose music video featured Charli D'Amelio.
Singles, touring and BLUDFEST
Barker released "Over You" on March 22, 2024. The breakup song followed his separation from Charli D'Amelio and marked his second single.
In 2024, Yungblud announced Barker as part of the lineup for BLUDFEST in the United Kingdom. Barker was also announced as a participant in selected dates of Blink-182's One More Time Tour, joining the band associated with his father.
