
Lisa Barlow
Lisa Barlow is an American reality television personality and actress known for being an original main cast member of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. She is also an entrepreneur who co-founded Vida Tequila and founded LUXE Marketing.
Personal life
Lisa Barlow met John Barlow through her sister, who served an LDS mission with him. They married on July 15, 2003, and have two sons, Jack and Henry.
The family lives in Draper, Utah. Barlow and John have also worked together professionally, co-founding Vida Tequila in 2003.
Business ventures and Sundance work
Barlow co-founded Vida Tequila with John Barlow. The brand officially launched in 2007, and its tequila is distilled and barrelled in Arandas, Jalisco, Mexico. In 2008, she founded LUXE Marketing, through which she became involved in planning and producing the Sundance Film Festival. Her work at the festival led to the nickname "The Queen of Sundance."
In 2019, Barlow founded Fresh Wolf, a hair-grooming company associated with her sons. Proceeds from the company go to Utah Foster Care. She also co-founded the beauty brand Nicole + Brizee with Nikki and Brie Bella, launching it at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. The brand was sold in 2022.
Television and acting
Barlow was announced as part of the inaugural cast of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City in 2020. She has remained a main cast member throughout the series and later appeared as a guest on Sold on SLC.
Her screen credits include the television film The Housewives of the North Pole, in which she played Lisa. She also appeared in Shahs of Sunset and participated in The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.
Faith and background
Barlow was born Lisa Jean Lee and is primarily of Jewish heritage. She and her family converted to Mormonism during her youth, and she has described her personal approach to the faith as "Mormon 2.0."
She attended Brigham Young University for two years before transferring to the University at Albany, SUNY, where she completed her degree.
