Michael Reeves

In September 2018, Reeves moved from Hawaii to Los Angeles, California, where he initially shared a home with fellow comedic inventor and YouTuber William Osman. In February 2020, Reeves and fellow OfflineTV member Lily Ki, known online as LilyPichu, announced that they had begun dating.

Reeves was born on the island of Maui, Hawaii, to an American father and a Filipino mother from Cagayan in the Philippines. After struggling with traditional academics in high school, he focused his efforts on self-directed computer programming. Following high school, he pursued computer science studies at Northern Arizona University and the University of Hawaii before leaving higher education to work as a full-stack software contractor for the government of Hawaii.

In April 2017, while still in college, Reeves uploaded his first major YouTube video, The Robot That Shines a Laser in Your Eye, which quickly went viral across online forums. He subsequently focused his channel on unconventional engineering experiments, producing creations such as a robotic vacuum that shouted profanities upon hitting walls, a taser-rigged camera, and an automated Twitter bot that bought highly liked product suggestions from comment threads.

Reeves moved into the collaborative content house OfflineTV in late 2019 and was officially announced as a core member of the group in December of that year. His introductory video with the group featured a game of capture the flag using modified laser-tag vests wired with tasers. He expanded to Twitch streaming in June 2020, broadcasting programming sessions and video games to an opening audience of over 30,000 concurrent viewers. In late 2020, OfflineTV acquired Boston Dynamics' quadruped robot Spot, which Reeves modified to dispense beer on command, earning widespread media coverage.

In May 2022, Reeves competed in the creator charity boxing event Creator Clash at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. He faced personal finance YouTuber Graham Stephan and won the bout by technical knockout in the second round.

Reeves branched into voice acting in 2024, voicing the characters Firth and Prawnathan in the video game Another Crab's Treasure. In March 2025, he partnered with streamer Ludwig Ahgren on a motorcycle trip across Japan from Cape Sata to Cape Soya, completing the journey in fourteen days without using smartphones, maps, or expressways. The duo followed this in 2026 with an overland journey across China.
