Myron Gaines

Gaines co-hosts the Fresh & Fit Podcast with Walter Weekes. The YouTube show centers on dating, women, fitness, financial discipline, masculinity, and self-improvement, and has attracted more than a million subscribers.

The podcast has also made Gaines a controversial online commentator. His views on women and gender have drawn criticism from people who characterize his commentary as misogynistic, while his supporters view the program as a platform for discussions about personal discipline and relationships.

Before working in podcasting and online commentary, Gaines served as a special agent with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He attended Northeastern University, where he studied Criminal Justice and Corrections and participated in rowing between 2010 and 2011. He also played basketball during his university years.

Gaines later moved into fitness and entrepreneurship. He founded Unplugged Fitness, also known as Fresh & Fit Fitness, a brand focused on coaching, training, and self-improvement. He has also worked as a certified personal trainer and pursued real estate investment.

Gaines entered publishing with Why Women Deserve Less. His online work and podcast appearances frequently address dating, gender roles, race, personal finance, and social expectations.
