Annie Moon

Annie Moon was born Moon Seo-yoon in Seoul, South Korea. She attended Gyeonggi Elementary School in Seoul before moving to Manhattan, New York City, in third grade. She spent 11 years in the United States and attended the United Nations International School and the Chapin School.

Moon studied art history and visual arts at Columbia University. She temporarily reduced her AllDay Project activities to complete her spring semester and graduated in May 2026.

Her family background has been a notable part of her public profile. She is the daughter of Chung Yoo-kyung and Moon Sung-wook, the granddaughter of Shinsegae chairwoman Lee Myung-hee, and the great-granddaughter of Samsung founder Lee Byung-chul. She has a younger sister named Taylor.

Moon developed an interest in becoming a singer at age seven after watching 2NE1 and BigBang's "Lollipop." She has identified 2NE1 and BigBang as childhood influences and cited CL as a role model. She later trained under The Black Label for seven years.

Moon attracted attention in 2024 when photographs of The Black Label trainees circulated online. She had been part of the planned lineup for Meovv, but The Black Label announced that she would not debut with that group for personal reasons.

On June 9, 2025, The Black Label announced AllDay Project, a co-ed group featuring Moon, Bailey Sok, Jo Woo-chan, Lee Youngseo, and Tarzzan. The group released its debut single album, Famous, on June 23, 2025. The title track reached number one on South Korea's Circle Chart.

Moon also contributed as a lyricist to AllDay Project songs including "Wicked," "Look At Me," and "Where You At." She co-wrote two songs on the group's first EP, AllDay Project, and served as a co-host of the 2025 MBC Gayo Daejejeon.

Moon's status as a chaebol heiress became a major part of the public discussion surrounding her debut. Her entry into the idol industry was notable because she was presented as the first member of a prominent Korean chaebol family to enter the Korean idol scene.

She has addressed the scrutiny surrounding her career by expressing that she had no regrets about pursuing an idol career. Her fashion has also attracted attention, particularly her combination of high-end designer pieces with casual clothing and modern styling.

Moon is known for incorporating crop tops, short skirts, long boots, and low-rise jeans into her wardrobe. Her public Instagram account, @anniesymoon, has also focused largely on fashion and outfit photographs.

Moon works as a vocalist, rapper, and lyricist with AllDay Project. Her songwriting credits include the 2025 songs "Wicked," "Look At Me," and "Where You At," as well as the 2026 non-album single "I Don't Bargain."

Her musical influences include 2NE1 and BigBang, and she has singled out CL as an important role model. Her career combines K-pop performance with songwriting and rap within AllDay Project's mixed-gender format.
