Bridget Lancaster
Bridget Lancaster is an American chef and television host known for co-hosting America's Test Kitchen and Cook's Country. She is also an executive editorial director at America's Test Kitchen, a cookbook author, and a lead instructor for its Cooking School.
Personal life
Bridget Lancaster has been married to chef Stephen Lancaster since the late 1990s. They have two sons, Tom, born in 2002, and James, born in 2008.
The family lives in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
From Cook's Illustrated to public television
Lancaster began working as a test cook for Cook's Illustrated in 1998 after working in restaurant kitchens as a pastry chef and later selling kitchen supplies in Boston. She was part of the launch team for Cook's Country magazine and led its recipe development.
She became a co-host of America's Test Kitchen with Julia Collin Davison in the program's 17th season. Lancaster and Davison have also worked together on live cooking events and co-authored Cooking at Home With Bridget & Julia, a cookbook featuring 150 recipes.

Lancaster's work focuses on the details of cooking, including the chemical interactions that affect a recipe's final result. She is an executive editorial director at America's Test Kitchen and has created hundreds of instructional videos.
