Noah Cyrus

Cyrus began acting at the age of two, playing Gracie Hebert on her father Billy Ray Cyrus's television series Doc. She later appeared in minor roles on Hannah Montana, including six episodes of the Disney Channel series, and was a background dancer in Hannah Montana: The Movie. She also had a cameo as a trick-or-treater in Mostly Ghostly: Who Let the Ghosts Out?.

Her first major film role was voicing the title character in the English version of the animated film Ponyo. She performed the English version of the film's theme song with Frankie Jonas. In 2021, she played Connie in the horror anthology series American Horror Stories.

Cyrus began her recording career in 2016 after signing with the label Records and entering a management agreement with Maverick. Her debut single, "Make Me (Cry)", featured Labrinth and reached number 46 on the Billboard Hot 100. She followed it with songs including "Almost Famous", "Stay Together", "I'm Stuck" and "Again", which featured XXXTentacion.

In 2017, Cyrus provided vocals for "Chasing Colors" by Marshmello and Ookay and opened for Katy Perry on the Witness: The Tour. She released the EP Good Cry in September 2018 and supported it with her first headlining tour, the Good Cry Tour. The EP included collaborations with Gallant and LP.

Cyrus released "July" in 2019 as the first single from her second EP, The End of Everything. The EP arrived in May 2020 and explored emotional struggles through songs such as "July" and "Lonely". She also released a cover of Mac Miller's "Dunno" during 2020.

In 2021, Cyrus released People Don't Change, a joint EP made with songwriter and producer PJ Harding. Their collaboration included the songs "Dear August", "I Got So High That I Saw Jesus" and "The End of Everything". Cyrus was nominated for Best New Artist at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, and her song "July" won a BMI Pop Award.

Cyrus released her debut studio album, The Hardest Part, on September 16, 2022, after its release was delayed by a manufacturing issue. The album included "I Burned LA Down", "Mr. Percocet", "Ready to Go" and "Every Beginning Ends", the last of which featured Benjamin Gibbard. She also released a remix of "Noah (Stand Still)" featuring Billy Ray Cyrus.

She began the The Hardest Part Tour in October 2022, ending the run after 24 shows in November. In 2024, she released "How Far Will We Take It?" with Orville Peck and appeared on and helped write "My Fault" with Shaboozey. Her second studio album, I Want My Loved Ones to Go with Me, was released in July 2025 and featured Fleet Foxes, Ella Langley, Bill Callahan and Blake Shelton.

Cyrus has spoken publicly about experiencing depression and anxiety, including panic attacks, and has said that she attends therapy to address these challenges. These experiences have influenced songs on Good Cry and The End of Everything.

She dated rapper Lil Xan from June to September 2018, and their collaboration "Live or Die" was released during that period. In June 2023, Cyrus announced her engagement to Pinkus, a German fashion designer.

In 2013, Cyrus used her 13th birthday to raise funds for a campaign seeking to ban horse-drawn carriages in New York City. She also worked with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, appearing in an advertisement opposing animal dissection in high-school science classes.

Cyrus later appeared in a PETA campaign supporting a boycott of SeaWorld. Her advocacy work has focused on animal welfare and alternatives to practices involving live animals.

After releasing the single "Lonely" in 2019, Cyrus collaborated with the Crystal Campaign on The Lonely Collection. Funds from the merchandise collection benefited The Jed Foundation, which works to protect emotional health and prevent suicide among teenagers and young adults.

She also sold some of her old clothing through Depop and donated the proceeds to The Jed Foundation.
