Olga Ospina

Olga Ospina is married and keeps her husband's identity out of the public eye. She has a daughter, Sophie Ospina, who was born on December 17, 2016.

Sophie weighed 6.4 pounds and measured 20 1/2 inches at birth.

Ospina has worked as a weather forecaster and anchor in Los Angeles. She joined CBS and KCAL 9 in June 2019 after working as a reporter and weathercaster for FOX 11 News.

Earlier in her career, Ospina began at a local radio station before joining KTLA-TV. She spent six years as a KTLA reporter, covering weather, business, crime and breaking news. Her reporting at FOX 11 included hurricanes, blizzards, floods and other major weather events, and she made her final reports for the station in 2018.

A December 2025 KTLA Weekend Morning News segment titled “Weather Anchor Olga Ospina is Named KTLA's Top Chef!” featured her in a blind taste test hosted by chef Jamie Gwen.

Ospina has appeared as a reporter in television films and series. Her credits include The Craigslist Killer (2011), in which she played a female reporter at a house, and Drew Peterson: Untouchable (2012), in which she played a TV reporter.

She also appeared as Newscaster #2 in an episode of Criminal Minds and was featured as herself in Good Day L.A.
