Paul George

Paul George has been married to Daniela Rajic since 2022. The couple have three children together.

In 2023, George began co-hosting Podcast P with Paul George, which features interviews with current and former NBA players. Actor Jackie Long and George's AAU teammate Dallas Rutherford are also co-hosts.

George grew up in Palmdale, California, with his parents and two older sisters, Teiosha and Portala. Teiosha played basketball at Pepperdine University, while Portala played volleyball at California State University, San Bernardino. George idolized Kobe Bryant and spent much of his free time playing basketball, including one-on-one games with Teiosha.

At Knight High School, George developed from a reserved player into the team's leading scorer. As a senior, he led Knight to the Golden League championship, won the league's Most Valuable Player award, and averaged 23.2 points and 11.2 rebounds. He played two seasons at Fresno State, averaging 15.5 points per game, before entering the 2010 NBA draft. Fresno State retired his No. 24 jersey in 2019.

The Indiana Pacers selected George 10th overall in the 2010 NBA draft. He earned NBA All-Rookie Second Team honors after his first season and became a full-time starter during his second season.

George's breakout came in 2012-13, when he moved into a larger offensive role after Danny Granger's injuries. He averaged 17.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 4.1 assists, made his first All-Star team, and won the NBA Most Improved Player award. He also helped the Pacers reach the Eastern Conference finals, where they lost a seven-game series to the Miami Heat led by LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.

In 2013-14, George averaged 21.7 points per game, finished ninth in Most Valuable Player voting, and earned All-NBA Third Team and All-Defensive First Team honors. The Pacers again reached the Eastern Conference finals before losing to the Heat.

On August 1, 2014, George suffered an open fracture of the tibia and fibula in his lower right leg during a Team USA exhibition scrimmage in Las Vegas. The injury caused him to miss all but six games of the 2014-15 NBA season.

George returned strongly in 2015-16, averaging 23.1 points per game and earning another All-Star selection. He also joined the United States national team for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, where he contributed as the Americans won the gold medal. George recorded averages of 11.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game during the tournament.

The Pacers traded George to the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2017, where he played alongside Russell Westbrook. George produced the best scoring season of his career in 2018-19, averaging 28 points per game, leading the NBA in steals, and finishing third in voting for both the Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player of the Year awards.

In 2019, the Thunder traded George to the Los Angeles Clippers after Kawhi Leonard persuaded him to join the team. The Clippers reached the Western Conference finals in 2021, their first appearance in that round. George scored a playoff career-high 41 points against the Phoenix Suns in the conference finals, although the Clippers lost the series in six games. Injuries limited him during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, but he returned to play 74 games in 2023-24 and earned his ninth All-Star selection.

George signed with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2024 and joined Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. His first season in Philadelphia was limited to 41 games by knee and adductor injuries. He later joined the Boston Celtics after a 2026 trade.
