Quinton Jackson

Jackson has four children, Raja, Elijah, Naname and D'Angelo. Raja and D'Angelo are from previous relationships, while Elijah and Naname are his children with Yuki Jackson.

Jackson and Yuki separated in 2006 after a paternity test established that he had fathered Raja with another woman in 2000. They later reconciled. Jackson has also supported Everton F.C. and lived in Merseyside in the United Kingdom in 2010.

Jackson began wrestling at Raleigh-Egypt High School in Memphis, where he earned All-State honors. He continued amateur wrestling at Lassen Community College in California before discovering mixed martial arts and training in Las Vegas with Lewis Rumble. His early professional record reached 10 wins and one loss across King of the Cage, Gladiator Challenge and Dangerzone.

Jackson built a reputation for lifting opponents and slamming them to the mat. His Pride career included victories over Chuck Liddell, Kevin Randleman, Igor Vovchanchyn and Ricardo Arona, while his rivalry with Wanderlei Silva produced both losses in Pride and a later victory at UFC 92.

In May 2007, Jackson defeated Chuck Liddell by first-round knockout to win the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. He later defeated Dan Henderson at UFC 75 to unify the Pride Middleweight Championship with the UFC title. His UFC run also included fights with Forrest Griffin, Rashad Evans, Lyoto Machida, Matt Hamill and Jon Jones. He signed with Bellator in 2016 and recorded wins over Satoshi Ishii and Wanderlei Silva before his 2019 loss to Fedor Emelianenko. A Combat Edge profile gives Jackson a professional MMA record of 38-14-0.

Jackson's film credits include Confessions of a Pit Fighter, Miss March, Bad Guys, The Midnight Meat Train, Fire with Fire and Boss Level. His most prominent acting role was B.A. Baracus in the 2010 film The A-Team, a character previously played by Mr. T.

He also appeared in television programs including The King of Queens, @#!% and Pimp My Ride. Jackson hosted an episode of WWE Monday Night Raw* in 2010 and appeared in Nike's "Human Chain" commercial.

Jackson made his Total Nonstop Action Wrestling debut on Impact Wrestling in June 2013, where he became involved in a confrontation with Kurt Angle. He later joined the New Main Event Mafia alongside Angle, Magnus, Samoa Joe and Sting.

Bellator removed Jackson from TNA programming before his planned pay-per-view fight with Tito Ortiz. Jackson later said he was finished with TNA, and the promotion moved his profile to its alumni section.

In July 2008, shortly after losing the UFC Light Heavyweight title to Forrest Griffin, Jackson was arrested in Costa Mesa after a vehicle pursuit involving several damaged cars. He faced felony and misdemeanor charges connected with reckless driving, evading police and hit-and-run property damage.

Jackson initially pleaded not guilty. In January 2009, he pleaded guilty to one felony count of evading a police officer while driving against traffic and one misdemeanor count of reckless driving as part of a plea agreement. The charges were dismissed in January 2010 after he completed 200 hours of community service and complied with other court conditions.
