Erin Dolan

Dolan graduated summa cum laude from Penn State University in 2018 with a degree in broadcast journalism. She had initially studied broadcast journalism at the University of Oregon before transferring to Penn State, where she focused on sports.

During her time at Penn State, Dolan received the Association for Women in Sports Media scholarship, which included an internship with ESPN. She was also the first woman to win the Harry Kalas Award from the Philadelphia Broadcasters Foundation and received two Mid-Atlantic Emmy nominations.

Dolan began her broadcasting career as a sports reporter at PHL17 in Philadelphia and a sideline reporter for the Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League. She also worked as a sideline reporter for the Big East Conference in 2019.

While studying at Penn State, she founded a track and field program for children at Drexel Neumann Academy in Chester, Pennsylvania, and coached the academy's girls' running club. Her early work also included reporting and sideline coverage in the Philadelphia area.

Dolan entered sports betting broadcasting in 2018 as an on-air host for PointsBet. She later became on-air talent at FanDuel, creating sports betting content for social media and other programming, before joining ESPN in December 2021 as a sports betting analyst.

At ESPN, Dolan appears regularly on ESPN BET Live and Sunday NFL Countdown, as well as other programs and segments across the network's television, radio, and digital platforms. She has also co-hosted the YouTube and Twitch program Girls Who Bet, participated in B/R Betting's The Group Chat, and hosted The Early Line on SiriusXM.

Her work emphasizes making sports betting easier to understand and more inclusive. She has said that she must closely follow betting numbers and may change her predictions shortly before a game, with accurate picks helping build credibility with viewers. At ESPN, she has worked alongside football coach and analyst Rex Ryan.

In February 2025, Dolan posted photos with Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm during Super Bowl weekend, publicly revealing their relationship. Bohm is an MLB player, while Dolan works in sports media.

Dolan has described the shared sports industry as a source of mutual understanding, saying that people in similar roles can support each other through outside attention and pressures that others may not understand.
