Jason Nash

Jason Nash has two children, a son named Wyatt and a daughter named Charley, with his former wife, Marney Hochman. His marriage to Hochman lasted from 2007 to 2017.

Nash became engaged to Nivine Jay in December 2022. Their marriage is variously dated to 2023 and 2024. Nash was in a relationship with fellow YouTuber Trisha Paytas from 2017 to 2019.

Nash moved from Boston to Los Angeles to pursue comedy. He trained with the Upright Citizens Brigade and worked as part of the sketch troupe Price, Nash, and Blieden, which was selected three times to perform at the Aspen Comedy Festival.

In 2010, Nash appeared on NBC's Last Comic Standing and reached the semifinals before being eliminated in the fifth episode. He also became a prominent Vine creator, building a following of 2.7 million users by the time the platform ended. He frequently collaborated on Vine with Brandon Calvillo.

Nash created, wrote, directed, and starred in the web series Jason Nash Is Married, which ran from 2010 to 2013. A film adaptation was released in 2014 and featured Busy Philipps.

He created the web series How to Be a Man and The Shaman, the latter involving a character who believed he was Jim Morrison. In 2016, Nash wrote, directed, and starred in the road-trip comedy FML, playing Sam Douglas alongside fellow Vine creator Brandon Calvillo.

Nash began uploading videos to his own YouTube channel in December 2016. Before that, he appeared in David Dobrik's vlogs and became part of the Vlog Squad. Nash later operated the channels JasonNashComedy and JasonNashFamily, with the latter initially focusing on his life with Wyatt and Charley.

Nash co-created the podcast Guys with Feelings, which debuted in 2006. He and David Dobrik also hosted the podcast Views, which reached number three on the iTunes podcast charts during its debut in 2017. Nash, Dobrik, and other Vlog Squad members took Views on a live tour of the United States in 2018.

Nash has worked as an actor, writer, director, and producer across television, film, and online projects. His acting credits include voice roles in Batman Beyond, SuperNews!, and The Simpsons, as well as appearances in Drake & Josh, Reno 911!, House, Alexander IRL, and The Thundermans Return.

His writing credits include Funny or Die Presents..., SuperNews!, Random Play, The Shaman, GQ: How to Be a Man, and Second Chances with Jason Nash. He also developed series for Fox, NBC, Oxygen, and IFC.
