Nicki Nicole

Cucco was born to Liliana Villella and Sergio Cucco in Rosario, Argentina. She attended Colegio Comunidad Educativa La Paz, completing her education before committing full-time to music.

She was romantically linked to Argentine rapper Khea early in her career. In 2022, she became engaged to rapper Trueno following three months of dating. In August 2025, Spanish footballer Lamine Yamal announced their relationship publicly, though the pair separated two months later in October 2025.

Before launching her solo career, Cucco performed as half of the duo Jovani & Nicki Nicole in 2018, releasing tracks such as "Ahora Quiere Volver". Solo success arrived quickly. In April 2019, she released "Wapo Traketero", produced by Gonzalo Ferreyra. The song went viral on YouTube.

In August 2019, producer Bizarrap invited her to record "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 13". The session reached number three on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100. It boosted both of their careers. Later that year, she released her debut studio album, Recuerdos. The record included collaborations with Latin trap artists Cazzu and Duki.

In May 2020, she released "Colocao", hitting the top ten in Argentina and charting in Spain. Three months later, she joined Trueno and Bizarrap on "Mamichula". The track made her the first Argentine woman to reach number one on the Argentina Hot 100. It also hit number one in Spain.

International television exposure followed. In April 2021, she performed alongside Puerto Rican singer Lunay on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. No Argentine artist had performed on the programme before. In October 2021, she released her second album, Parte de Mí, featuring Rauw Alejandro and Dread Mar I. She also teamed with Mexican group Los Ángeles Azules for the cumbia single "Otra Noche" and Spanish pop singer Aitana on "Formentera". Her third studio album, Alma, arrived in 2023 and won Best Urban Album at the Premios Gardel.

Cucco released her fourth studio album, Naiki, in 2024. It earned her a nomination for Best Música Urbana Album at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.

Her catalog extends across rap, R&B, and Latin pop. Over her career, she has received accolades from the Latin Grammy Awards, Heat Latin Music Awards, and Premios Lo Nuestro, alongside winning Best Streamed Artist on Consoles at the 2020 Spotify Awards.
