Christian Nodal

Christian Nodal has been married to Ángela Aguilar since July 2024. The couple previously collaborated on the song "Dime Cómo Quieres," released in 2020, and their relationship became a prominent part of Nodal's public profile.

Nodal was previously engaged to Mexican singer and actress Belinda Peregrín Schüll. They announced their engagement in May 2021 but ended their relationship in February 2022. He later had a relationship with Argentine rapper and singer Cazzu, with whom he welcomed a daughter in September 2023.

Nodal's interest in music began when he was four years old, when he started singing. He learned to play several instruments, including guitar, piano, and trumpet, and grew up in a family connected to music. His father, Jaime González, was an orchestra director and owned an artist management agency, while his mother, Silvia Cristina Nodal, was part of the local group Luna y Song.

He attracted attention by sharing homemade song videos on Facebook. His father later helped him record his first song in 2016. Nodal became associated with mariacheño, a style that combines mariachi and norteño sounds, and helped bring the fusion to a wider Latin music audience.

Nodal released his debut studio album, Me Dejé Llevar, in 2017. The album received positive reviews and became his best-known early work. His debut single, "Adiós Amor," reached the Monitor Latino Top 20 General Mexican Songs chart, while the album later achieved multiple-platinum status.

His subsequent studio albums are Ahora (2019) and Ayayay! (2020). His recorded songs include "Ya No Somos Ni Seremos," "De los Besos Que Te Di," "La Sinvergüenza," "Cazzualidades," and "No Te Contaron Mal." In early 2020, he began appearing as a judge on the reality singing competition La Voz.

Nodal collaborated with the band Piso 21 on the 2019 song "Pa' Olvidarme de Ella." He also performed "Dime Cómo Quieres" with Ángela Aguilar, a duet that became an important collaboration in both artists' careers.

His honors include Latin Grammy Awards, a Lo Nuestro Award, two Billboard Latin Music Awards, and a Latin American Music Award. He was nominated for the 2021 Grammy Award for Best Regional Mexican Song for "AYAYAY!"
