Bill Melugin

Melugin began working in journalism during his first year at Arizona State University, including a short stint at The Blaze 1330 AM radio in 2008. He later worked at State Press Television, Cronkite News, and KNXV-TV ABC 15 before moving into professional reporting and anchoring.

In January 2013, he became a reporter at KFOX 14. After more than two years, he joined WJZY-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a news anchor. He began working as an evening investigative reporter for KTTV-TV FOX 11 Los Angeles in June 2017.

Melugin joined Fox News as a general-assignment reporter in 2018 and became a national correspondent for Fox News Channel in May 2021. His reporting has focused particularly on immigration, border security, law enforcement, and national political stories.

Melugin received an Emmy Award nomination for "The Case for Arizona," a 12-part investigation into allegations of voter fraud in Maricopa County. He also covered claims involving dishonest voting practices and followed up on investigations that did not produce evidence supporting those allegations.

His reporting has included coverage of the 2020 presidential election, the Uvalde and Highland Park mass shootings, and major law-enforcement operations. These assignments helped establish his profile as an investigative and enterprise reporter at Fox News.

Bill Melugin has never been married. He was previously in a long-term relationship with model and actress Katy Johnson, which began in November 2018 and later ended.

Melugin has also worked as a model, with agency affiliations including Abercrombie & Fitch, Urban Management, Wilhelmina Models, and FORD/Robert Black Agency.
