Lacey Chabert

Chabert married David Nehdar on December 22, 2013, in Los Angeles. They have one daughter, Julia Mimi Bella Nehdar, who was born in September 2016.

Chabert's older sister Wendy died of a heart attack in November 2021. She also has a younger brother, Tony, and an older sister, Chrissy.

Chabert began performing in drama and music productions around her hometown at an early age. She was a finalist on Star Search in 1991 and played young Cosette in the Broadway production of Les Misérables from 1992 to 1993. Her early screen work included the role of Bianca Montgomery, Erica Kane's daughter, on All My Children.

Her breakthrough came in 1994 when she was cast as Claudia Salinger on the Fox drama Party of Five. Chabert appeared in 142 episodes during the series' six-season run from 1994 to 2000. She won YoungStar Awards for her performance in 1997 and 1998, and also received a Young Artist Award for the role.

Chabert made her big-screen debut as Penny Robinson in Lost in Space in 1998. She later appeared in Not Another Teen Movie, Daddy Day Care, and Black Christmas, while her best-known film role became Gretchen Wieners in Mean Girls.

Her voice credits include Eliza Thornberry in Nickelodeon's The Wild Thornberrys and its feature films, Young Vitani in The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, Gwen Stacy in The Spectacular Spider-Man, and Zatanna Zatara in Young Justice and other DC-related productions. She was also the original voice of Meg Griffin during the first season of Family Guy before Mila Kunis took over the role.

Chabert's Hallmark career expanded after she played Liberty Taylor in Elevator Girl in 2010. She went on to star in films including A Royal Christmas, A Christmas Melody, The Sweetest Christmas, Christmas in Rome, and Hot Frosty. Her frequent holiday roles have led to her being called the "Queen of Hallmark Christmas Movies."

She played Tess Harper in the Crossword Mysteries series and Avery in The Wedding Veil trilogy and its later films. Brennan Elliott co-starred with her in nine Crossword Mysteries movies. Chabert also served as an executive producer on several Hallmark projects, including Sweet Carolina, The Wedding Veil, Groundswell, and Celebrations with Lacey Chabert, which she hosted.

In 2022, Chabert launched the Lacey Chabert Collection apparel line with HSN, with its first ready-to-wear collection released in 2024. She later introduced a Lacey Chabert Collection product line with Hallmark that included greeting cards, glassware, ornaments, and other festive products.

Chabert also appeared with Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, Rachel McAdams, Rajiv Surendra, and Daniel Franzese in a 2023 Walmart commercial tied to Mean Girls. The commercial centered on her character Gretchen Wieners and reunited several members of the original cast.
