Stephanie Ruhle

Stephanie Ruhle has been married to Andy Hubbard since September 21, 2002. They have three children, Harrison, Reese and Drew.

Ruhle met Hubbard in 1998 while they were both working at Credit Suisse. She has also identified herself as Catholic.

Ruhle began her career in financial services after earning a bachelor's degree in international business from Lehigh University in 1997. She spent six years at Credit Suisse, where she worked in hedge fund sales and became a vice president. She was described as the highest-producing credit derivatives salesperson in the United States.

In 2003, Ruhle joined Deutsche Bank as a credit salesperson covering hedge funds. She later became a managing director in Global Markets Senior Relationship Management. At Deutsche Bank, she founded the Global Market Women's Network to support women's advancement into leadership roles.

Ruhle joined Bloomberg Television in 2011 and co-hosted Inside Track with Erik Schatzker. She and Schatzker later hosted Market Makers, and she subsequently co-hosted Bloomberg GO with David Westin. She also served as managing editor and news anchor for Bloomberg Television and as an editor-at-large for Bloomberg News.

In April 2012, Ruhle, Bradley Keoun and Mary Childs were the first reporters to break the story of the London Whale, the trader behind JPMorgan Chase's 2012 trading loss. Ruhle reported that JPMorgan trader Bruno Iksil had amassed positions large enough to distort prices in the credit derivatives market.

During her Bloomberg career, Ruhle interviewed figures including Michael Bloomberg, Lloyd Blankfein, Stanley Druckenmiller, David Tepper, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Jamie Dimon, Martha Stewart, Al Gore and Donald Trump.

After leaving Bloomberg in 2016, Ruhle joined MSNBC as a correspondent and anchor. She hosted MSNBC Live with Stephanie Ruhle and co-hosted the business program Velshi & Ruhle with Ali Velshi. Her MSNBC work has included interviews with political, business, entertainment and sports figures, as well as reporting on the migrant crisis at the border in McAllen, Texas.

In 2022, Ruhle became the permanent anchor of The 11th Hour. Her television credits also include Stephanie Ruhle Reports, On the Money, The Vote: America's Future with Stephanie Ruhle and Decision 2020: Are You Better Off With Stephanie Ruhle.

In 2015, Ruhle produced and hosted the documentary Haiti: Open For Business?, which examined Haiti's emerging-market prospects five years after a devastating earthquake. She also participated in Shark Land: A Mission Blue and Fusion Expedition, a documentary focused on shark conservation at Costa Rica's Cocos Island.

Ruhle co-chaired the Women on Wall Street steering committee and founded the Corporate Investment Bank Women's Network. She has served on the board of trustees of Girls Inc. New York, was honored as one of the organization's Women of the Year in 2016, and serves on the board and advises React to Film.
