Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair was married to Riki Johnson from 2010 to 2012 and to Thomas Latimer from 2013 to 2015. She was married to fellow wrestler Andrade Cien Almas from 2022 to 2024.

Flair has also dealt with health issues that led her to take time away from WWE programming.

Flair is the daughter of Ric Flair, the 16-time world champion. She grew up around professional wrestling and appeared alongside her father in World Championship Wrestling programming, including a wrestling-promotion appearance at age seven and a supporting role in a storyline at age 14. Her brothers Reid Flair and David Flair also became professional wrestlers.

Before entering wrestling herself, Flair was captain of her high-school volleyball team. She helped the team win two state championships, earned conference player of the year and conference tournament MVP honors, and accepted a full volleyball scholarship to Appalachian State University before transferring to North Carolina State University.

Flair joined WWE's developmental division, NXT, in 2012 and made her in-ring debut in a battle royal on an NXT live show on October 25 of that year. She initially performed under the mononymous ring name Charlotte. In 2014 she won the vacant NXT Women's Championship and held it for 258 days before losing it to Sasha Banks.

During her NXT career, Flair became closely associated with Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, and Bayley. Together, the four were known as The Four Horsewomen of Wrestling and were credited with bringing greater attention and credibility to WWE's women's division.

Flair debuted on WWE's main roster in July 2015 as part of the Divas Revolution. She defeated Nikki Bella to win the WWE Divas Championship and became the final holder of the title before it was retired in 2016. At WrestleMania 32, she won the first WWE Raw Women's Championship, becoming the first Superstar to hold the title.

Her championship record includes one Divas Championship, six Raw Women's Championships, seven SmackDown Women's Championships, two NXT Women's Championships, and WWE Women's Tag Team Championships. She won the tag titles with Asuka and later with Alexa Bliss, and is recognized as WWE's most decorated female wrestler.

Flair and Sasha Banks headlined the 2016 Hell in a Cell pay-per-view in the first women's Hell in a Cell match and the first main-roster WWE pay-per-view main event between two women. Flair won the match and reclaimed the Raw Women's Championship. She also defeated Asuka at WrestleMania 34, ending Asuka's undefeated streak, and headlined WrestleMania 35 in a Winner Take All match against Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch.

Flair's rivalry with Rhea Ripley produced several major matches. Flair defeated Ripley at WrestleMania 36 to win the NXT Women's Championship for a second time, while Ripley defeated her at WrestleMania 39 for the SmackDown Women's Championship. Their WrestleMania 39 match received Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Match of the Year award.

Flair won the women's Royal Rumble in 2020 and again in 2025, becoming the first woman to win the match twice. In 2025 she also won the Women's WarGames match alongside AJ Lee, Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, and IYO SKY.
